drealmer7: Uhhh, they didn't ask for links to recipes, they asked for recipes! Seriously lame!
Hey hey, calm down! I think it is correct to share a link; notice here, the last part of Dotur's post:

Dotur: Post your receipt (or the link) till 28.12.2014, 23:59h UTC +1. I'll try to choose the winners on monday.
This one is taken from the game Baldur's Gate. The recipe is real though. Tried it. They are actually surprisingly good and pretty easy to make.

If this qualifies, I'm in please. Thanks for the giveaway.

MONKEY BALLS (makes ~40)

A) 1/2 c. peanut butter
1/3 c. honey
1/2 c. granola
1/2 c. crushed 'cheery' cereal
dash nutmeg
dash cinnamon
1/2 c. oatmeal

B) 1 c. sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. milk
1/4 tsp. vanilla

INSTRUCTIONS:
Mix ingredients in (A), except oatmeal. Roll into small balls about
the diameter of a coin. Coat balls in oatmeal.
Boil ingredients in (B) together for 3-1/2 to 4 minutes. Take from
heat. Dip balls in chocolate using spoon or toothpick. Chill and
serve.

Monkey balls are to be served with the following poem on prominent
display:
"Monkey Balls"
These sweet and gracious monkey balls,
Served on plates and sold from stalls,
Bring madness to these hallowed halls
Of urban academe.

Huzzaks for chocolate monkey balls!
We'll eat them 'til the ceiling falls,
'Til Time, herself, tears down these walls
Of urban academe.

So buy yourself a monkey ball,
Savour it and then stand tall,
A bulwark 'gainst the deaf'ning call
Of urban academe.

Thanks for the giveaway.
Count me in if you like the recipe.

Taste the Christmas with minimum effort! :)
I am in...I always likes German cookies, though most were gingerbread which you do not want. SO my next favorite Cinnamon Stars:

Zimtsterne
Zutaten

550 g Puderzucker
200 g gemahlene Mandeln
2 Teelöffel gemahlener Zimt
abgeriebene Schale einer halben Zitrone
2 Eiweiß
1 Esslöffel Zitronensaft
Zubereitung

Mix eggwhite, finely ground almonds (50g) and 250g of powdered sugar into a glaze. Cut out stars and cover with glaze. Bake the stars to a light golden color in a preheated oven on a greased baking pan (center rack) at 150°C. Knead the remaining dough together with one or two tablespoons of ground almonds, roll out and cut out more stars. Continue until all the dough is used. The cooled cinnamon stars can be decorated with chocolate sprinkles, colored sugar or almonds.

This sounds good but what stands the "c" in the list for? Cup?

As a note: Brahmin Fries from Fallout 2 are disqualified. I definitely would considere them as strange.

Yes cup.
Not in & +1! :D

I have no idea about cooking :P

You´ll have to know your strengths and so on... ;)
Here's one: Honey biscuits

---------

Ingredients (for 52 biscuits)

500g wheat flour
260g brown sugar
75g coarsely chopped walnuts
250 ml olive oil (or any other kind of oil)
200 ml honey
500 ml water
1/2 teaspoon salt
5g anise powder (only if you like it)
5g cinnamon powder

Instructions
(video in Portuguese but should be easy to follow with the sound muted)

1. Boil the water in a sauce pan. Add the oil, honey, cinnamon, (anise powder), salt and brown sugar. Stir.

2. Once it starts boiling again, reduce the heat to the minimum. Add the walnuts and flour. Keep stirring under low heat for 3 minutes (until the dough doesn't stick to the bottom of the pan anymore).

3. Remove the dough and place it on top of table (where you previously spread some flour on). Mold the biscuits.
(see the video for an example)

4. Bake them for 15 to 20 mins at 230ªC on a preheated oven.

5. Let them cool down before serving and sprinkle some white sugar on top (optional).

---------

That's it. :) Count me in for the giveaway too.

Also, Happy Holidays!

Please count me in.

I'm not a particularly keen baker, but I have enjoyed this recipe in the past: http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/2459643/vintage-chocolate-chip-cookies

Thanks for the giveaway!
If your Christmas is like mine, you will want a change of flavours.
Here is my suggestion to freshen your taste: Lemon bars!

I'll just post the link to give credit to my source:

Now, the recipy I really wanted to share with you is not a cookie, but more of a sweet pastery. If anyone likes "odd but tasty" food, I present to you: Sweet Chickpea Pockets! Wait! It is delicious, I promise! But here is a warning: peeling chickpeas is not great fun, but there is a great reward to this grinding!
In my home we would put a towel on the table, place about two handfulls of chickpeas on it, and then rubbed a large piece of cork on top. If someone helps you (do you have a kid in the house? Get them involved!), it goes much better.

I found a few recepies in english that you can follow, rather than doing the translation myself:
- http://www.grouprecipes.com/98206/portuguese-pockets-with-sweet-chickpea.html
- http://thisptstyle.blogspot.pt/2012/12/portuguese-cuisine-azevias-de-grao.html

Should anyone not like these Sweet Chickpea Pockets, feel free to complain to me. I never met anyone that would stop eating at just one.
Not in, but thanks for a special and very unique giveaway! I'll probably take some of these delicious-sounding recipes. ;) +1, good luck to all the participants, and happy holidays! :)
