There's a lot of Apogee games on GOG, why not this one? It's amazing and it'd sell like candy! Clearly there's some agreement between GOG and Apogee, it shouldn't be hard to get this one.
Here's some nostalgia:

Probably the best videogame music ever

lol. Ahem... sorry about that.
What exactly do you mean by that?

i would say that he quite obviously thinks that it isn't the best videogame music, and was trying to put it in an original and somewhat hyperbolic way :)
i find it strange that we don't have any scrolling, enemy wave shooters here, and this one looks pretty awesome. so i put in a vote on the wishlist, which i see you did too.
for the record, the music IS pretty cool.
Gameplay for those that don't know it. Is definitely GoG material.
I bought this game many years ago. Great game. Also was the game that introduced me to Duke Nukem 2. Generally, the gameplay is some of the best, although other shooters (like Tyrian) offer more customizability and variety.
I LOVED this game! Twin lasers FTW! I actually bought it twice and would happily buy it a third time. To me it's the polar opposite of Japanese shmups especially at higher levels where you can ram into stuff left and right. This and Major Stryker are my all time favorite top down shooters and would, I think, make an excellent 2 pack.

But I do agree that the game was great.

Raptor was awesome. I remember the game, and I think the music is exceptionally good.
I played that game for many, many hours in my youth. Definitely something I'd buy if it showed up on GOG, so here's keeping my fingers crossed.

FlameWhip: Twin lasers FTW!

Twin lasers were certainly awesome for their damage output, but in terms of functionality I was always more of a fan of the Auto-Tracking Minigun and the Pulse Cannon, as they allowed me to pepper the entire screen with projectiles easier and suited my excessive strafing style of play better (with twin lasers you'd usually end up missing most things if you were constantly zipping back and forth). Plus the Pulse Cannon was second to none when it came to turning every building on the screen into a smoking ruin in a matter of seconds.
