What is your favorite Call of Duty game? Mine is Call of Duty 2 for PC.
You bastard! I was all set to do something with my life today and now your thread has be itching to reinstall my COD War Chest and have at it. :P

In answer to your question I love em all, but two has a slight edge.
The first call of duty is still the best.

"You will have food, water, weapons and plenty of ammunition! What do you think the Germans have?"
I'd put my money on CoD 2 as well, although I'm not what you'd call a Call of Duty 'fan'. Could never really get into Modern Warfare like that, but I appreciate that MW1 was a good game for its genre. World at War was a decent-ish MP experience; after that, the series went downhill fast.

And Ghosts just looks fucking ridiculous, especially with that dog.

Amen to that. In fact anything after 1945 seems to be a big no no for me, not including the ultra future stuff like Quake and Doom. Then again Doom isn't a "war game" so it doesn't belong here to begin with. Am I putting too much thought into this? :P

Careful, Tiny. Remember what we said - one brain cell at a time. :-p

I've barely played Call of Duty 2 as when I first learned about the first one (LAN party) my computer couldn't handle the second one so I didn't bother to play much.

I like both Call of Duty 1 and 4. The best part in the first game is that the maps are huge and if you play with few people it can take some time before you meet someone, building suspension and I'm a sucker for that kind of thing. The new ones have too small map size, the sessions become arena based, too arcade-y for my taste.

1. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3. The absolutely brilliant campaign will get you started, and the perfect cooperative and competitive multiplayer experience will have you coming back for more. Highly recommended. (Can't wait for Call of Duty: Ghosts)

2. Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare. I'll never forget watching the sun rise outside while I was playing it. The modern theme shift was stunning.

3. Call of Duty 1. Like Medal of Honor, but done much better. A fantastic start and a great game.

4. Call of Duty 2. Improves on Call of Duty 1 in every aspect, featuring great level design, impeccable gameplay, impressive atmosphere, and I really loved the tank battles in the campaign.

I was really hoping I'd open this thread to simply read,

Subject: Question for Call of Duty Fans

What is wrong with you?

;)
1. Call of Duty + United Offensive
2. Call of Duty 2
3. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare
4. Call of Duty: World at War
5. Call of Duty: Black Ops

I don't care for the others.
