Yeah,im back from a little break, now school is starting :( (im in argentina),so,the nostalgy fom a old game came to my mind,it came with a issue of a spanish magazine,so i was like, whoa,a game of pirates, those graphics are ****.and the characters look awful, but behind that i found a supa-higly-remegasgaisdg playable game, the damage in the ships is well reflected,u can use different types to destroy ur enemies, you can board them or canon'em to death! :P,so i wondered if someone of here would be nice to vote on it
thanks
MC
PD:BTW,has someone played Sea Dogs 2 and tell if its good or bad??
please post,i got a way to get it (i wont answer how and from where) so i can play the continuation of my fav game!
When you say Sea Dogs 2, do you mean Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl, originally called Sea Dogs 2? There's also a new game in the series, I think it's called Age of Sails or something along those lines.
POTC was quite good, I thought, and even better with some mods. I loved the atmosphere and excellent ship combat. As a matter of fact, I want to play it now.
Oh, and yes I'll vote for Sea Dogs on GOG. I'll even vote for POTC. Wonder if it works on my PC at all now. And if I still have the original Sea Dogs.
I would rather have Sid Meier's Pirates!, to be honest. I played it on the PSP, but i would rather have it on the PC with a normal sized screen.
SeaDogs doesn't work on XP, or at least on my system. Everything moved in and out, like the waves. Also, SeaDogs 2 was the Pirates of the Caribbean game that sucked. :D
I couldn't read any of that. But I've decided to use brain cells and translate that into ENGLISH.
Yeah, I'm back from a little break, now that school is starting (I'm in Argentina), so the nostalgia from an old gae came to mind. It came with an issue of a spanish magazine, so I was like, "Whoa, a game about pirates, those graphics are ****." And the characters look awful, but besides that I found a super-highly-??? playable game, where the damage in the ships are well reflected, you can use different types of ships (is that what you're trying to say?) to destroy your enemies, cand you can board them or cannon them to death! So, I wondered if users here would be nice enough to vote on it.
Thanks!

Hola amigo argentino! yo soy de chile. Yo nunca pense que habria mas latinoamericanos aca en GOG.
Speaking of these games, does someone know Admiral (turn-based strategy in the Carribean) - was it ever released? I really liked the demo back in '97, but I haven't heard about it since then.

Yes, indeed it was. It seems it didn't attract much attention, however.
