Hello, I really love this game I've been playing when I was young. This game brings so many memories back. Ultim@te race pro was the first game introducing some kind of dynamic lights in game history. The game supported Glide and PowerVR cards. The latest version is 1.5 which can be still found on some websites.
There are many people searching to make the game work on Windows Vista-7 machines, but there's no luck. I've been trying to port it in some way but I had no luck. It seem that the game is written in Visual C (I hope I'm not wrong), but it's for 16 bit systems... (Or that's what it says sometimes when it crashes). In windows Vista-7 the game crashes instantly after running.
As I've seen that you allready ported P.O.D. to windows Vista-7, a game from the same time of Ultim@te Race Pro, maybe it would be possible to port the game to GOG.com. The only drawback is that the game was made by the french game studio called Kalisto, which doesn't exist anymore. Luckily iv'e found the developers of the game in Facebook (See credits of the game to find the names), but they have never responded to me :(
Maybe I can help in some way, I own the original CD and I have all the latest patches and tools to extract files from data.bin file from the game.
I hople somebody from GOG.com can respond me if it's possible. Greetings! =)
