Has anyone else been having payment problems? I just joined and am trying to pay with a debit card from my bank account.
I get an error screen that says payment not accepted. It gives me some options on what might be the problem. Such as wrong information entered, bank blocking transactions, but the card works on all other websites that I purchase things from. I have a straight up Visa credit card, but I try to save it for emergencies only.
Has anyone else had the same problems and resolved them? I'd like to see if I can get some community help before I bother the support staff. Any help would be appreciated.

Never had an issue with my debit card before. Could your bank be blocking transactions to certain countries? GOG is based in Poland, not sure if that would be an issue though.

Irishluck79, I know people have had troubles with MasterCard not going through as the transaction is based overseas as I understand.
You may have to call your bank and give them permission to allow the transaction to go if this is the case.
You could also buy a Green Dot Card that acts like a credit card but it is only good to the amount you load it up with. There is an initial $10.00 activation fee (if I remember correctly), but you would in essence be paying by cash even though it looks like a credit card purchase.

Also, Irishluck, if I may offer a recommendation. You say you save your credit card for emergencies and usually use your debit card? I suggest that you have it the wrong way around. Credit cards are more secure and usually have some sort of aggressive fraud protection program. A compromised debit card, on the other had, is messier. In my experience anyway.

I'm not sure if this is relevant to your problem, but I've had similar problems with my Visa, but only when I have tried to buy two games one after another. The first purchase goes through with no problems but the second, done immediately afterwards, throws the same error message as in your case. If I then wait a while, and browse through other GoG pages meanwhile, and then try again, everything works once more.
