nightrunner227: Just finished it. It was a neat game. Tense and scary. It got a little weird by the end (you won't like it if you're not into supernatural/sci-fi type stuff), but it fit the story they built, and I found it really enjoyable. Well worth the $20 price tag, despite being fairly short at about 4 hours. I'd say a speed run could be done in about 2.5 hours though.
wow that's a bit short for me. Sure gameplay time is not a measure for the game experience but still. For me this is waiting for a discount. These past few year i found for myself that newer releases just aren't fun or good enough for the price they are asking. They also have no replay value whatsover, gaming turned into a disposable commidity for me (play it once and never again), but i still play a lot of game from previous gens , some of them i have beaten countless of times. There are exceptions but these are becoming rare and rarer. Hence the waiting for a discount on a 20$ 4 hour long game. I have felt that I waisted my money for far too many times.
Outlast looks great though and i hope for the developers it does well and I hope for us that it comes here (so voted).
