Like, the first one. We could all break out the ol' CD-ROM (or the download off GOG, you lucky bastards) and have an epic game, ARMA II style but with horribly polygons. And because it's no fun playng a milsim alone.

I have it. I don't mind playing. The few times I tried it online, it was a blast. Think of it as WWII Online, except it's not WWII, with slightly fewer players. Conquer The Island was confusing as hell, but at the time when I tried it, the concept was still rather novel and cool.

Is this coop missions or competitive?

I am always up for OFP, although I may be a bit (read: a lot) rusty.
And as long as i have an m16, I really don't care what mod we play. Although, I am willing to remove my m16-rule if I get a lasgun from the 40k mod :p

I'm up for trying it. But I don't have the GOG edition and don't know how our pings will affect it.
I've posted a link for mods here, with proper screenshots, one recommended for 'fine tuning' the online play is the WGL mod.
Or we can play themed mods, like Michael suggested one.

ArmA 2 is infinitely times better than OFP ever was. Took me a long time to come to this realization, since OFP is one of my favorite games ever.

ArmA 2 is good (so is ArmA, for that matter) but it still runs like crap and has room for a few more patches. OFP is much cheaper, a lot of us already have it (I have all three OFPs, and the sequel made by Codemasters, but whatever :p), and it has MUCH lower sysreqs.

Eh, I get a good 25-30FPS after lots of tweaking, all max settings. But I'll be glad to join in on OFP.

You don't need a GOG version to play.

If my schedule didn't interfere I'd love love love to try some OFP MP.
