Another great real-time strategy from TopWare Interactive's back catalogue just appeared on GOG.com! What's even better you can grab it for only $4.79 during the TopWare Week promotion!

Although it's technically a stand-alone sequel to K&M: The Shattered Kingdom, it contains its predecessor's single-player campaign. What sets this game apart from dozens of other titles is the "daily life" economy the player deals with. There are a lot more resources and buildings to manage. Also, despite there is no population cap, the size of your armies is effectively limited by how much food you can produce, resulting in more complex micromanagement, which many [url=http://www.gog.com/en/search/sort/search/rts]RTS players love.

Not played it, but thanks to a bulk license, I've installed it on several machines for one of the places I work at. ((not GOG's version))
Appears to be quite popular with some of the students that play it.
correct link - the one in the post gives the 404 void bears. (edit: this has now been fixed :))

The music in this game is so great. I haven't played it in years, but I still remember that one tune that I loved.

Whats the diffiuclty level like for this game (on a scale of 1-5, 1 being the hardest) as i like strategy and RTS but tend to be a bit rubbish at them.
A difficulty rating would be a useful thing to be included in the reviews or descriptions when the games is released.

Heh, I have in front of me the demo cd of my favorite pc magazine august 98 with the knights and merchants demo (next to the commandos: behind enemy lines game, would be great to see that one added). Was thinking "would be fun to play this one again just yesterday.
NIce addition to the catalogue :)
