Technically speaking you are mistaken. GOG.com is a part of CDProjekt group and NOT Valve Corporation.

Karlallen: I played this a few years back but near the start I had problems. Something about towing a mining station to a nearby moon/planet.

We experienced this problem initially, however the version now available in our release was no longer susceptible to this bug. :)

BoxOfSnoo: Is this actually a RTS? Or a space sim like Freespace? How do the RTS aspects work out in the game?

You're not a pilot of a fighter but you command fleets of vessels. An RTS with resources, tech-tree and... uh well... lots of space to let your men die for you. ;)
