wonderfull series, nice game. Best adventure screenplay ever, good voices. I played again two months ago so i'll not purchase it, but every adventure fan must have it in his collection.

t0mme: One of the best adventures ever made. The 'Le Serpent Rouge' is one of the best puzzles ever! The voice-acting of Gabriel however is dreadfull.

bazilisek: How dare you? It's Tim Curry! The greatest actor in the history of acting, ever!
Seriously, though, I know everyone has their own opinion, but Tim Curry is Gabriel Knight to me. The actor in The Beast Within wasn't bad at all, but compared to the other two games, he's just... flat.

The voice-action in GK1 was okay, in GK3 it's just corny.

Yes, he is always a bit larger than life, but that's Tim Curry for you. He was somewhat more restrained in GK1, but there are still things like Gabe masquerading as "Father McLaughlin" where you can tell he was just having a lot of fun. GK3 is that, multiplied by ten.
I can understand it may be too much for many people, though.
Just been going through the first GK and starting to get the hang of it, but I look forward to getting to this at some point.
Amazing! When they threw the first GK game on here I didn't think, Nor did I expect, to see them bring the entire Gabriel Knight catalog to GOG, But CD Projeckt, You've done it again!
While I'm still in the midst of "The Beast Within" right now, this is an insta-Buy for me! It's reassuring to know that once I'm finished with GK 2, There won't even be the slightest wait for GK 3! Thanks again GOG!
Great release, but I already own it on CD. Also, it woud be great if GOG could get the comic book that was a prequel to the events of GK3. This comic came with my boxed edition of GK3, and there was a digital version of it that was included in the special edition of GK1 and GK2 that I found at a thrift store. Now that the whole series is here, it would be nice to have all the extras available.
You realize, of course, at this point a "Vampire" genre here would drown out "Sports"?
Great release! I've deliberately held off on buying Gabriel Knight 1-2 before I knew if the third game was going to get here as well, and now that it has arrived a GK sale (which is what I'm really waiting for) at some point in the future is virtually guaranteed.
As for the actual game, GK3 is my personal favorite adventure game of all time. That doesn't mean it's truly the best game in the genre (I guess everything from Day of the Tentacle to Grim Fandango and Monkey Island 2 belongs on the "authentic" Top 5 list), but it's the one adventure game I really enjoyed playing. I'm normally not a big fan of the strange puzzles, torturous pixel hunts and long-winded character interaction which make up the "gameplay" of most games in the genre, but GK3 stands out by having an impeccably researched and expertly written plot,, memorable characters (Grace more so than the obnoxious Gabriel, obviously) and a very enjoyable soundtrack. The 3D graphics weren't half-bad for the time, and though some have complained about the movement controls I found it all perfectly intuitive back in 1999. I've already bought this game twice (I have the original CD version and a Best Buy DVD), but I'm definitely going to buy it again as part of that inevitable future sale...

I love these early 3D games that look considerably worse than their 2D forebears but OMG 3D!!!!
The industry often gets ahead of itself.
GK is great adventure game - for 6$ - this should be instant buy for every adventure fan.
at least give GK3 a try with some promo.
still i have boxed version, but i'll buy GK from GOG to complete the serie.
and small petition also - GOG hear us:
- gk3 have such a wonderful music - give us soundtrack!
- is it possible to get for us digital version of Jane Jensen GK books (in PDF)? i would buy it :)

This PDF was available at one point straight from Sierra's website - via their FTP. I remember getting it from there.
Wonder if it's still available somewhere.
Great news for GK fans!!
Once i'm done with the first 2(which i've already bought) i'll definately be picking this one up. I have a horrendous back catalogue of games I need to catch up on so this will have to wait a little bit, but i'm excited it's here!

Yeah, I've been hankering for some sports titles here myself. Tony Hawk please. :)

Some snowboarding games would be great to have too. I'm much better at snowboarding games than skating games. I'm not sure what PC titles there are though. SSX3 for Gamecube was my favorite.

I love SSX to death. Unfortunately I dont think any of the games were released on PC. Since EA loves the PC now, maybe the next game will come. :)
