Recently I've posted in a thread that went rotten for being utterly spamming stuff. Before the thread was deleted, anyway, someone managed to reply to my post and now the "new posts" badge keeps alerting me on the right corner of the site/forum/account layout.
Is there something that can be done about this nasty little red pest? :-P

I have the same problem actually. seems to be because the link to the thread i have a reply from is broken.

Thats a weird little forum bug, just ask support and they'll squish it for you

Yeah, I've got the same problem still.

Same here, one for a thread removal, and one for a thread that was redirected to a game subforum.
Had it before, support can get rid of it. Not totally bothered to get it fixed this time, as it remains minor and acts as a quick link to the 'my posts' section, wherever I am on this site.

Same here but support hasn't bovvered to do anything.

Oh good, they can fix it. I contacted support a few days ago, but hadn't heard anything from them yet. Well, I suppose now all I need is patience =)

me too. it happened before and they fixed it. But i can't be bothered to report it again.
It's because I made the mistake of replying to a Hidden Gem of the Week topic again.... must remember not to do that.

I had the same thing happen to me before. It's not fun to have a little red button stare at you for about three days.
Note to self: Never post in a spam thread again.
