I've played the original N ages ago (and wasn't a big fan) but I really don't know anything about N++. So is it N with more colorful graphics? Have they turned it into some puzzle game and only kept the name? Seriously, help me out, man!

It's still the same N game, just heavily improved with improved graphics/effects/music, tons of levels as well as a level editor where you can download and share levels

Developers are saying that this is supposed to be the "Final and Best" version of the game
When I see N++, I keep thinking of notepad++. I haven't played N++, is it a puzzle game?

It's just a platform game, I guess you could compare it to Super Meat Boy.

Speaking of which, I wanted to give it another try and the Ninja doesn't jump. I'm pressing Space (supposedly the jump key) and I get into the game but the space bar doesn't do anything after that point, I can only run around. Am I missing something or have I actually run into a bug?

Well, I don't think that's gonna be enough for me to get interested in the game but we'll see.

Edit: Aaah, scratch the part on the jumping problem. For some reason the game takes the space bar when it asks for the jump key at the beginning of the game but ingame it's "z" but that one didn't work because of my German keyboard layout. Oh well. <.<

...I'm cool with this. I liked N as well as N+.
I don't mind when indie devs update their game from freeware but another one? Straight after? Move on, man...
Played A LOT of N a long time ago. If N++ comes out on GOG, it will be instabuy for me.
Wow! It just has to be the worst teaser I've ever seen :D If I didn't know N not only I wouldn't be able to guess the genre but actually I wouldn't even think it's about a video game :D I do know N but this video is still repelling.

Anyway, I have mixed feelings about N. Some levels are very creative and it was very rewarding to beat them. Some others, however, depends on your luck - in theory you know exactly how to beat it but if you jump nanosecond too early or too late you are dead. Levels with many round tiles are good examples...
I think I had this game on Xbox 360.

yeah, N+ was released On XLBA but it didn't have level sharing

N++ will have level sharing as well as a couple of other things
