Firstly I want to thank GOG for giving us the Freespace series.
There are two other space series games I hold close in my heart for nostalgia and would love to see on GOG in the future.
Elite Series..
These are all time classics.. I wasted many hours with Frontier: Elite II back in the middle school days with a great friend staying over each others house playing till dawn. I never did get the chance to play Frontier: First Encounters..
I still fire up the emulator once on a blue moon and play elite 2.. Would be good to have a hassle free windows version.
Wing Commander
Now these were awesome games.. I loved getting to know the other pilots and how the story unfolded. I thought games I - IV were great.. Prophecy was not so good..
Would be great to toast some Kilrathi again someday.. I have the rare 'Kilrathi Saga' box set that was never released in Europe but cant use it any more on Vista Ultimate 64
Wishlist
Elite, Frontier and First Encounters would have to be in a bundle pack. Hopefully they can get the Amiga version of Elite running through something like WinUAE.
Same for Wing Commander. Wing Commander, Secret Ops, Wing Commander 2 in one pack then the later games like WC3 and 4 and Privateer for $5.99 each.
I'd love both series (and I'm not so sure they'd have to bundle them, with the exception of Elite 1 which is already available for free from Ian Bell's site). I don't think it's entirely unlikely with the Elite games. Wing Commander might be harder, since that's EA.
There are some other space games I'd love to see here, like the I-War games and HardWar. And if they did get EA on board, I'd love to be able to give the Starflight-games a proper go.
If you like the Elite series, check out Oolite....original Elite recoded to work on todays machines, but also with many add-ons to make the oolite universe a little more involved...
Oolite can be played as a straight Elite if you don't want all the extra goodness though

oh, and it's completely free as well..;o)

That'd require licencing of a kickstart image for the amiga emulation though which would increase the difficulty and the end unit price
On the non EA/Lucasarts space game front, I-War would be freaking awesome and I'd like to have a go of X Beyond The Frontier.
Straying back into fantasy "gog gets ea" territory, I'd love Starflight 1 & 2 so I can relive the glory days of dodging a holy war between the 2 factions of crazy tandelou plant people, shooting at the jelly blob spemin, trying to figure out the weird cyclical PMS of the Ng-Kher-Arla, trying to get a profit from the humna humna and doing my best to not slit my wrists every time I have to talk to the dweenle...

Indeed, however it would then open the Commodore Amiga catalogue for release on GOG.
What, you think GOG is having too easy a time getting older PC games and they need to up the difficulty by a factor of 10?

No but they already have several publishers on board that have Amiga IP's, it just more and MOAR is good.

OH SO VERY SECONDED on both counts, especially if it's Independence War 2: Edge of Chaos.
For Starflight 1 and 2, though, I'd want the Amiga versions, Kickstart licensing be damned.
