I did research on this because it was a D&D game, which I was looking (well, still looking) to make a video series on.
As far as I can tell it plays like Betrayal of Krondor and M&M7, with more of a gameplay leniency to Eye of the Beholder, though generally rather clunky. There were a lot of those games back then it seemed, and only a little while ago I thought Elder Scrolls was the only one in that regard! Probably still the best out of gameplay though.
I would hope that GoG could procure every D&D game, which Wizards of the Coast seems interested in doing as evidenced by their recent re-release of the Saturn-only Chronicles of Mystara. Like seriously, get the GoldBox games on here. You could package the Pool of Radiance saga like Might and Magic and put the rest into a separate pack. Menzo also had a sequel, as I recall.
