On Machinarium's main page, they're offering a Holiday Sale. The game with Samorost 2 for a total of $10.

Awesome promo.
I pre-ordered Machinarium and don't regret it one bit. Machinarium and Samorost 2 plus both soundtracks for 10 bucks it's a sweet, sweet deal.

Also, I should also mention it has some very GOG extras; it comes with the soundtrack, box art, and Windows, Mac, and Linux versions. Keep in mind that they won't back up your purchase forever; you'll need to download it within 14 days of purchase.

If this sale can be gifted, would someone be so kind as to gift it to me, I'll give you GOGs for a similar price in return (2 $5.99 games, 1 $9.99, or something similar with the weird sale prices used at the moment). For some reason they don't seem to accept my card number, and they haven't replied to my message to support. Given the short time frame I don't think there will be enough time to solve the issue before the sale ends.

It can be gifted simply be entering the 'giftee' email on the buy form.
I can do it mate, no problem.
