I would just like to say...

I have all the games already.

But it's a very intriguing approach to a giveaway!

"A hint to the wise is before the eyes"...

edit: that is, I have the games being gifted that aren't mentioned in the post.... as for the post itself, I have no idea :-)

I know! I know! Those are cogwheels!
Being from lugum, I'm pretty sure is something he stole... probably from Doc...

I hope is not the Flux capacitor!..

Attached is original image with annotations.

The Torx screws reveal the scale. I'm supposing the image is 2" or less, from top to bottom.

When the white 'switch' on the right hand gear is lifted, the right gear rotates counterclockwise, and the left rotates clockwise until it meets stop B. The different gear diameters means the right gear will rotate twice the angle the left will. In total, the switch probably rotates 60', and the springs back to the original position when released.

The thumb switch, the spring, and stop A can be moved into alternate positions to reverse the system. This could mean that the device can be altered for left-handed / right-handed people. But I suspect that it means that this mechanism is included twice in the same object, one left hand, one right hand.

I think that this image is one side of the release mechanism for a modern window sash, the release that allows you to tilt the window inwards and clean the outside face.

It would be called a window sash tilt latch, I think. That said, it doesn't look like any of the few tilt latches I've seen.

Anyway, maybe someone else can think of another device with a similar symmetrical release mechanism. I'm just guessing for giggles.

As grimwerk said before... looks like a locking mechanism, but I have no proof, thus in only for S.P.A.Z.
lugum's hint:

"- Hey guys, it has to do with domestic appliances (washing machines, etc).
Possibly a locking device for one of such appliances."

Stooner's commentary:
- So... it's just a stolen domestic appliance... not the flux capacitor.

refrigerator? lmao
What's That BUMP
Looks like BUMP
Thanks Lugum for the giveaway but I'm not in.

Domestic appliance?
Hmm...my guess is a torture machine for caught pests.
Hmm, I've never seen anything like this on an appliance, but then, I tend to just plug them in and let them do their thing. :-)
Well I'm not in but it could be some kind of lever for a toaster or maybe a locking device for self-cleaning ovens - you really don't want to be able to open the oven door while it's cycling at the high temps it takes to clean the buggers!
Mechanical BUMP
The locking mechanism from a domestic old safe box?

Here is a new tip from lugum and a new requirement:

"It can be found on the bosch site"

http://www.bosch-home.nl/producten/koelkasten-en-vriezers/diepvriezers-vrijstaand.html

lugum wants a model number and from what piece it comes from.
