I just noticed that low-rated threads that do have new posts in them are showing up as if I have already read them (most recently with the "Starforce" thread). Anybody else seeing this? Perhaps a new "feature" of the forums?

Its the same for me with the Starforce thread. As its not happening with any other threads I'd take a guess that it might be a feature.

I have a new posts flag continuously, even when there are no new posts. Also read posts remain after I have read them.

It's happening for me, and I've noticed it through that Starfoce thread too.
Also, after I post something, going back to the general forum shows my recent post as unread (instead of read, as I personally posted that :p)

I also get this, pretty much exactly the same (although the second bit only happens occasionally, like those times where I post something, but it doesn't appear for a couple of minutes).
@Stuff: There was another thread about that, I'm sure it was something to do with people replying to your posts and then either the thread or the post being altered or deleted in some way (or at least that was the best guess of the people concerned). Not sure if there was any word from GOG about it.

Send a message to support about it, they'll probably help you solve it. I got that after I posted in a spam thread, someone replied to me, and then the thread was deleted.
It's happened a few times or me as well, it usually solves itself after a while though.

I can't say the same for the posting delays, as they stopped happening for me after the holidays.
Also, the posts haven't disappeared any more, are always going ok. Just these read/unread problems, indirect reply notices and deleted thread notices.
Maybe try clearing the browser cache, restarting the browser, and logging in again? Could work.

Same for me.

For those getting the new post error, contact support. They're aware of it and asked we keep contacting them whenever it happens until the next site update.

That'll teach you for posting spam, we're not interested in your ipod video converter!

Or that I shouldn't politely tell them to FOAD?
