...so, King's Bounty The Legend. I played the demo. I'm now considering it. However, i have a SecuROM question: does the game have it, and what is the 'flavor' of SecuROM? Because, at the Amazon.uk page and the comments i see no reference at SecuROM (and the site's commenteers have a tendency to CLEARLY post about DRM stuff in a game - i see none relating to this game).
However, at GamersGate, there IS indication of SecuROM and so i ask if someone has the experience, and:
1. Is SecuROM only for the digital, GamersGate version?
2. What type of SecuROM? 'Disk check' -type of thing? Since is digital download, i'd assume its the worst kind - the one that limits installs and so...
3. Specific experience with the GamersGate version plz elaborate.
:]
I own the Gamersgate version. There is no online verification required beyond what Gamersgate itself adds, and I've personally installed it without an internet connection. If there is SecuROM in it, I am not sure what it does.
I have the retail version, and it does contain Securom in the "disc check only" flavor. Personally I haven't had a single issue with it.
Man, you should play it asap no matter what DRM it has.
Impulse version have GOO.
