hello good old games lovers, i need your help.

recently, my brother asked me to sell his mini pc: it is called Sagem Spiga (or Umid M1).
it runs Windows Xp on 4,8" screen with 1.1ghz Atom cpu.
it has a resistif touch screen and pen.

now, i would like to mention about my wish with this beauty: to play good old games before saying goodbye.
but, as a mobile user, it is hard to use its touch screen for me.

(ps: i hate screens with fingerprints, that's why i use Nokia E71 as cell phone, Kindle Keyboard as ebook reader, personal computer with regular monitor, etc)

so i need keyboard only games.

i tried Pirates! Gold, it worked like a charm.
i could try M&M series but finished most of them when i was younger.

As result,
i would like to thank you in advance for any keyboard only suggestions.

The Cat Lady is pretty much keyboard controlled but I am not sure if it will play on that device.
The Gothic games are keyboard only, but I don't know if you can play them on that thing. Give the first one a shot, as it's a little older .

EDIT: Postal 1 should do .

Wizardry 6 can be played keyboard only, but you have to set it in the options. Much better than playing that game with a mouse. Not sure about 7 or 8 though, I assume they can be as well but, you know what they say about assumptions.
I can think of a million great games here that can be successfully played keyboard only (UnEpic, Soul Reaver, Crusader, Postal to name a few) but like Judas said, I don't know about that system. Crusader might be your best option and not a bad one because even with it's age it still holds up and makes for good violent fun.

i try but can't share links now ( forum don't let me post),
there is a youtube video as Umid M1 gametest,
people plays quake III, warcraft III, etc.

i don't know if it can handle,
but i will test Gothic,Wizardy,Crusader first :)

thank you for your replies :)

any other suggestions?
You can't go wrong with the classics: doom 1 and 2 (and it's many many many amazing wads) or the build games (blood, shadow warrior, redneck rampage, duke). Tomb raider 1,2 and 4 (maybe even 3) are worth it too.

thank you, great games at all.

however, to be honest, i really hesitate to play any FPS,
i fear to damage its tiny keyboard while playing hard :)
I once ruined a keyboard by "playing hard" but that is for an entirely different thread in an altogether different forum.
You can't get a mouse for this computer?

Anyways, +1 on Doom, DN3D, Shadow Warrior and all that. Also, there's a ton of old school platformers like Duke Nukem, Commander Keen, Secret Agent Man and such that aren't even playable with a mouse.

i would like to use it like a PSP (not even like a Nintendo Ds with a pen)
but it runs pc games.

thank you for game list.

i wonder if i could play Monkey Island or other lucas games,
have you ever tried them without mouse?

I think the really old ones might be playable like that. It wasn't until Windows 3 came out that you needed a mouse to do anything. But, I think those are also the LA games that are largely unavailable for purchase. Seeing as they apparently don't want to sell people the really old games.
Descent 1&2 - I was surprised by how well it played using only the keyboard - one hand controlling movement, the other turning - although it may feel a little awkward at first.

And here's the list which are completely keyboard-only games (or work really well that way):

Pro Pinball, Pinball Gold Pack, Balls of Steel
Earthworm Jim 1&2, Rayman Forever, Pandemonium 1&2
Raptor, Tyrian 2000
Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee & Exodus
Screamer 1 & 2
Crusader: No Remorse & No Regret
Duke Nukem 3D & Manhattan Project, Shadow Warrior, Blake Stone: Aliens of Gold & Planet Strike
MDK (possibly MDK 2?)
Zork Anthology (duh!)
Alone in the Dark 1-3
Expendable
Little Big Adventure 1&2
Aliend Breed, Superfrog, Worms United
Early Sierra adventure games
Tomb Raider 1-5 (possibly 6?)
Sensible World of Soccer

...and some others which won't run on a as low-specced PC though. This is just what I gathered from my list of games. I'm certain there are a good few more out there that may work for you as well.
