JudasIscariot: Unless they get the source code and make the games more expensive, I highly doubt they are going to be fixing other developers' games. On the other hand, maybe they can petition the developer to fix something majorly gamebreaking, like the whole Arx Fatalis deal getting a patch from Asceron.

Ghostfromthepast: Yes, i was meaning to say fix, not for them to actualy patch the game, but to manage some sort of deal like what they managed with Ascaron for Arx Fatalis. But if they had the change and means to to fix them, themselves ( without increasing the price) i would't opose. ;)

My understanding is, at least in regards to the Arx Fatalis debacle, that was not done at GOG's request at all. It was just the same code version that Ascaron had already supplied to other download services like Steam, but had yet to supply to owners of the retail cd/DVD version of the game.

Just to clear one thing up: Ascaron has nothing to do with Arx Fatalis. You guys are mixing them with Arkane. :-)

Whoops! Heh, yeah, I should have remembered that after UK_John's ranting over this subject.

In my defense, they both start with "A"......
Anybody remember Chaser?

In my opinion a pretty decent FPS that was completely overlooked by most gamers at it's time. Except the (failed) attempt at telling a compelling story, it had many things going for it that made it an enjoyable FPS for me. Rather long, challenging-but-not-too-hard difficulty and some light mix of game elements rather than just-another-level-to-gun-your-way-to-the-exit-in.
Not a cult classic but definitely worth $5.99.
What about the 2 Neighbours From Hell games???
I'm a little concerned about this aquisition actually. While I do enjoy some Jowood games (Painkiller) they have a bad reputation for customer support. I'm sure that the current games are all well and good and work properly however if you look at The Guild 2 Venice where you can't load a saved game and Jowood not giving a statement or a fix or even acknowledging there is a problem...
I shall remain hopeful for a Venice patch ...

Cook: You can check all JoWood's games that will appear on GOG.com here.
We have uncovered all the games, so you can see what's coming to the site very soon. Of course we'll add new publishers and new releases, but can't say anything more yet :). Have fun with these classics from JoWood Productions!

Yeah but aside from Painkiller (which is awesome but I already have it/Battle out of Hell) these all suck.
holy crap guild is coming to gog.
I always wanted it.

This reminds me: Arcanum would be rad as heck on GOG.
