Rather short amount of time after release to be on a 50% off promo.

At this rate it'll probably be in a game bundle of some sort before too long.
Definitely worth to shot.

This. :p
Magrunner... somehow I wasn't even aware that this game was available on GOG. I've heard good things about it but $9.99 is too much for a single game right now. Will pick it up another time.

It'll be on deeper discounts several times over before I buy a PC capable of running it.

Exactly... Maybe the game didn't find big enough audience at the full price point. There are so many games now...

Ok, done. No idea what kind of game it is, but 10€ isn't that bad. I recall being amazed when retail PC games could be bought for 10€ when they were on discount.

Not going to check in the near future either, currently Baldur's Gate 2 is keeping me fully busy and I am enjoying it quite a lot (about 100x more than the first BG). Played it until 2:15 am last night. Weekends are for sleeping.

EDIT: So, a 1st person puzzle game, akin to Portal? That sounds nice, especially with Chthutthlthltu-horror elements.

Hmm that wasn't long before a big discount was it. Must be a cluttered market for games and hard to compete at normal retail price point perhaps. Well I can't really complain about the price even when you factor in currency conversions this is a pretty good deal for a new game.

Well I guess I'll buy it and by the time I get around to playing it, it will end up being the original GOG definition of Good Old Game maybe :) My backlog is so large.
Didn't really pay attention to this one when GOG first acquired it, looks more interesting that I thought at the time. Still, probably too beefy for my computer setup, so it will have to wait for now. That being said, if it drops to around $5 at Xmas...
Hopefully I am misunderstanding something, but are people complaining that the the discount came too soon?
Nice promo for a very nice game:
Go folks, get it!

Not complaining, just pointing out the very short length of time from release to 50% off.
Dammit GOG, why must you do this to me in the middle of the week? When I have no idea what tomorrows classic release will be or what will be in the weekend promo. -__-
