I don't play that many multiplayer games but usually have no problem if you write but steam is always on when the PC is running and sometimes I'm not there.

I am much in the same boat. I don't have many RL friends who game, and after 8 years on Steam I have 3 friends. So, if you would like, feel free to add me. And anyone else for that matter.

Braussie: I'm logged into steam a lot, but hardly ever actively doing anything on it. I got married 6 months ago, have a pregnant wife, and an 8 year old stepson. Gaming has become a significantly less frequent thing. Let me know if you'd like to add me anyway, and I'll gladly give you my info :)
Sure, why not?! My kids are all grown but I can understand how very busy you are at this point in life. It does just get better and better as time goes on and later you'll have more time for yourself which you'll certainly have earned by then!

I'm in exactly the same boat as you; I've been on Steam for several years, but I've yet to find any real friends :(.

So of course I'll add you :). I think having Steam friends from GOG is a wonderful idea!

Thank you all so much. This is such a wonderful community of people. It's really been heartwarming to see so many responses - even a blue post! I just added everyone up to this point tonight. I was sitting here like a little kid with a big smile on my face as I did so, visiting your profile pages and taking a quick glance at each to see what you've been playing lately, etc. I plan to visit each again soon and check out whatever you might have put there which is always fun.

It looks like other GOG folks have been making some new Steam friends here which is really great. I have never seen a community on the Internet that is anything like this, like all of you. :D
