Also, no interest in Blood Bowl? The GOG BB League has a new season starting soon. If I had a bit more multiplayer experience and a stable internet connection I'd be interested. Sadly, my connection keeps dropping. I'm starting to suspect my modem is giving up the ghost. :(

I'd be willing to try Blood Bowl in the spirit of league play, but not sure how well I would do. Since based on my fantasy football leagues poor showings and failed attempts to play through a season on any football game to date not sure I'd be the best home ;-)

Also on the subject of your modem, is it one you purchased yourself? I've had 3 modems over the last 7 years die on me, slowly getting worse and worse, but, as I was renting them from my ISP all I had to do was take it into their local office and they exchanged for another modem with very little hassle (and at least in 2 of the 3 an upgrade). All told I think I've paid less in the modem rental fees than it would be to have bought 4 modems. Plus we are pretty hard on them in my household, having up to 5 PCs, consoles and other hardware all hitting them at the same time.

Fair enough. It's killer fun, though. Emphasis on "killer" -- with most teams. And it is "fantasy football" in the truest sense of the term. I just wish I wasn't limited to playing the AI at the moment.

EDIT: Yeah, I bought it from Cox. I believe it is the modem because I'll still be connected to my router but have no internet connection at random. It usually doesn't last but a few minutes, enough for BB to drop the game though. I really need to find a reliable way to troubleshoot it before I go shopping for a modem I may not need, though.
