Just wanting to spread some knowledge and learn some new things, I'm sure many of you are aware of what movies go along with what games, but not everyone is aware.
so what are some great movies that go along with a specific game?
For example, if you like Duke Nukem 3d, you'll love They Live! And here's why.
Please post your favorite movie/game combinations and why.

If you love any of the Dragonlance games you'll love (or at least not completely hate) Dragons Of Autumn Twilight because it managed to capture the feel of it quite well.
I WAS planning on making a joke about loving the D&D movie that featured generic wayans brother #22 but then I realised I couldn't do that without laughing.
There's no such thing.
Doom and Doom.
If you like Uwe Boll's films, you will love all games in the world. Really.

I'm not looking for movie versions of actual games, but films and games that have no "official" relationship.
Although, Postal 2 is the best example of a game and movie tie-in success.
If you like Loom (game), you might like Legend (movie).

You're kidding, right?
I am kidding of course but Weclock, I am not sure. :D
If you like Alone in the Dark (the original and the best) you'll like various stories by H.P. Lovecraft... oh wait films...
er..
Blade Runner and Blade Runner.
done.
If you like KotOR you'll like Star Wars... well ok it's a bit obvious.
If you like Braid you'll love and [url=http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0130827/]Run Lola, Run
All three screw with time in interesting ways.
If you like Bikini Karati Babes you'll love Kill Bill Vol. 1
Both have hot chicks and tons of blood.
if you like Half-Life you'll love Children of Men
Both have societies lacking children and take place in bleak dystopian futures.
If you like Audiosurf you'll love Speed Racer
Both involve fast speeds and lots of color
If you like Ghost Recon/Rainbow Six you'll love Black Hawk Down
This could apply to so many shooters set in contemporary times
If you like Starcraft you'll love Alien vs. Predator
Because Blizzard pretty much ripped off the idea.

Memento is absolutely brilliant. You just need to be able to concentrate throughout the entire movie.

"Memento" is brilliant but "Run Lola, Run" is also a very very good movie I recommend to everyone.
Also, if you like "Pitch Black" you should obviously play "Escape from Buther Bay".
