I believe that question that hashishen gives is a proper reaction to such proposal. I also believe that it should be written like that:
WHAT!? WHY?
That way we will be fully share experience of hashishen (also my feelings) after he has read your post.

Rule of thumb: The point of a promotion is not to benefit the customers. It is to promote the service.
A random promotion generator would defeat the purpose. As it stands, look at most of our recent promotions. More than a few of them put Fallout on sale, which gets this site massive publicity (since Bethesda is selling Fallout 3). Putting Sensible Soccer 2006 on sale would merit a side mention, at best.

"Original" does not equal "good". I could make "original" music by punching piano keys randomly. That does not mean anybody would want to listen to it, including me.
