You know, the current "gog" fav icon is far better than the single "g" one. IMO. Too many sites just opt for a single letter fav icon, so now they're just run of the mill "me too!" style plain boring icons. The "gog" one manages to get the whole name of the site into the icon -- a rarity for icons -- and is just all round classy.

I can't read the word classy without thinking of this.

Aliasalpha: 50% off everything?
avatar
Weclock: that's fairly mediocre, how about %75

75% seems to be lowballing it too, lets go for 95% off for one day

Still too low, let's go for 99% off.

I say we just make every game free.
The favicon is in and out. Sometimes it's the old GOG, sometimes it's a new favicon with a single g. Wish I could replicate it, but I can't.
EDIT: Just saw that interview. Man, this Tom quote was hilarious: "And time will hopefully say, 'yeah, here you go,' and I’ll laugh maniacally as I play Full Throttle again."

I say they should pay US!
No wait, thats just silly, 95% off is quite adequate
Then again if they WANT to pay me... Hell I'd be almost employed!

Arkose: According to the VideoGamer.com interview, a site redesign is definitely on its way:
Our Design & Development Team is working on "Update 2" that will bring a lot of new features to the service, but lets' not spoil everything :)

For a moment, I read that as "Update Z"
I'm glad they're giving their updates a whole number instead of decimals. It's a sign that something big will be coming, and judging from Update 1 with teh awesome virtual shelf, it's even more re-assuring

Said with truly No Remorse indeed ;)

The web developer in me is cheering, but the anti-downtime activist in me hates it. Never seen a GOG server go down since private beta, EVAR.

I say we have GOG pay YOU for each game you get for free. : )
