Been looking at the GOG sales & I'm wondering. There are a few games I'd like to pick up, but idk whether they'll be on sale at a cheaper price later down the line.
Are there any "rules" per se on GOG sales, like waiting until the last day or unless it's offered in a Daily Deal?

If you're only looking at getting 1 game, I'd grab it now.
The higher discounts this time round seem to be bundle based.
This seems to be a first for GOG but yes, it seems to follow the same rules as you'd expect for a Steam sale. Don't buy anything till the last day, unless it's on a daily.

Unless you don't mind something popping up for cheaper of course.

That said, there's some sales that don't last throughout the whole sale, like the Mobysoft and Square Enix games, they end in a few weeks I think but they'll let us know 48 hours before that happens.

And yeah, as above. If *all* the sales turn out to be group sales like this I imagine 50% is the best we're gonna get if we're only after single titles rather than packs, unless you get lucky with what the other games are in the pack.

Thanks a lot, but I was expecting more answers, but oh well :)
I'll go ahead and add to this. Typically GOG doesn't go any higher than 60% on individual games. Rather surprised that The Witcher games are 75% off (one for only today).

Maybe this means GOG will be going with 75% off sales more often.
