Hi, I've reading about the Square-Eidos games that will be released soon on GOG. Apparently, Anachronox is one of them, and I've found a demo here: http://www.fileplanet.com/62317/60000/fileinfo/Anachronox-Demo

The problem is, this demo is designed for Windows 95/98/Me, and I'm using XP. All I got is a "Anoxdemo detected a problem and must be closed" message. Does anybody know how to run it? Thanks in advance.

You tried running it in compatibility mode?

Right-click the exe, choose properties, and somewhere there you should be able to choose compatibility for earlier Windows versions.

Thanks, I'm running it with the nHancer tool. After creating the profile for the exe, just type 11a8 as Driver Extension limit on said profile.

i didn't even remember Anachronox had a demo until i came across this thread. i immediately downloaded it since the game might come to GoG next week...

works more or less flawlessly on my W7x64 system with 5870 graphics on 12.1 ATI drivers. awesome.
