I can't seem to find a configuration file. Well, I find the GOGDODConfig.exe file, but clicking on it just tells me to open the Dosbox Configurator from the start menu. Am I correct in assuming that I need to download DosBox? Or is there another solution?

If I do need to download DB, can anyone help me fraps in it with the GoG games?
just use Bandicam or Dxtory - so you can control the resolution and unlimited recording in one file

Or you can just press CTRL+ALT+F5.

DOSBox has its own internal recording functionality.

When I recorded some DOS-game Youtube-videos, I used CamStudio 2.7 instead because DOSBox's internal video recorder didn't record Roland MT-32 music (through Munt) at all, CamStudio did. But if one is recording only e.g. Adlib/Soundblaster sounds from DOSBox internal sound emulator, I guess it doesn't matter. Not sure if there is a way to tell DOSBox to record Munt music?

Also I think the CamStudio video output was of higher quality, but maybe that depends just on some settings. There were two things that bugged me about CamStudio:

- It was tricky to get a "clean" video output. I learned the easiest way to record with CamStudio was to run the DOSBox game in a window, and tell CamStudio to record only that window. But then it would record also the window borders to the video. To get rid of them, either you had to edit (crop) the video afterwards, or tell CamStudio precisely what area of the window you want to record, so that the borders are left out of it.

- At least with default settings, the video output is jerkier than what the game is actually running. So e.g. on my Lethal Weapon video it seems the scrolling on the PC version is quite jerky, while in reality it scrolls quite smoothly. I guess I should have just set the "recording frames per seconds" setting in CamStudio way up, but the video files were already quite big as it is.
