It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Did you try disabling anything running in the background?? Stuff like Steam or any antivirus software??? Also, and I am not 100% sure about this, try to see if your Java Runtime is up to date....
Just stuff to try if possible. I hope it helps.

I've had the exact same problem as well. I just gave up using the Downloader and downloaded the files directly.

Well, it looks like the source code for the downloader is corrupted. Have you tried to uninstall the downloader and download it one more time?

What browser are you using?? Try it in Firefox if you're using IE and vice versa...

It look's like the file on our servers might be corrupted. I've uploaded the correct .air file. Please try to download it again: http://www.gog.com/air/gogDownloader.air

Do you have access to another computer, on witch you could try to install the downloader app?
Are you sharing a connection with anyone ?
