How can I tell if a game uses the mouse or keyboard before purchasing?
I have to use mouse and many games do not have description for which to use.
Any help would be appreciated.

I would suggest asking on that particular game forum most games here will use the mouse and keyboard but there are a few (mostly very old ones) that use keyboard only.

The minimum specs for each game are listed on the game's page right above the community reviews. I don't know if that will tell you exactly what you want to know, but it might indicate a lack of mouse controls if the specs don't list a mouse as being required.
I also agree that asking in the forums for the game you are interested in would be a good approach.
