First, thanks a lot for that great site ! GOG president !
I'm a french guy and I'd like to play my games (notably adventure and RPG games) in my language.
Would you please add some FR patches, or let us choose language when we download a game ?
Thank you for answering, and please forgive my POOOOOOOR english.............
And still CONGRATULATIONS for this ...ing great initiative !
See ya !
Salut, bienvenue sur GOG! ;)
For now, there are no other languages versions here (except for some games that are multi-languages maybe?). But keep in mind that GOG is still in beta, we'll surely have the pleasure to see games with multiple versions later.
And as GOG is functioning (you can download as many times as you want a game you bought here), I'm sure that if you buy a game in english now, you will be able to re-download it later in another language.

GOG is preparing multi-lingual support, presumably some time after the beta ends, so many releases are the "multi-4" or "multi-5" versions where possible (which includes French and other major European languages). Arx Fatalis is one game I know definitely includes French because I found its audio in a data file, but there will be many others.
GOG games install to English by default, but in fact files for all supported languages are installed. For some games you just need to choose the language you want from within the game, while for others you need to edit or rename a configuration file (the method required will vary depending on the game).

Bienvenue sur GOG.
No need to apologize for your poor English (not so poor by the way): As a French, you are -expected- to have a poor english ;)

Or rather expected to -pretend- to have poor english.
We are looking into the multiple languages of games on GOG.
This aspect of our service requires more time but be sure we are looking into it ;-)
