hey, I was hoping to get a little outside help, because it's a little difficult to get the word around
I've been working on TetrisAttack.org and the forums for it, and I was hoping to maybe get an opinion from someone new to the series as to what they'd like to see added to the site, what works on the forum, and whatever. If you don't mind helping out a friend for free, I don't mind helping you out either (like say if you need to buy a region restricted game, or would just like to save some cash on buying the American version, etc).
So give me some tips and suggestions.
You can either post them here, or if you really want to help you can post them on the forums, just send me a PM and I'll elevate your account to moderator so we can test some of it out.

Weclock the what I'm doing section on the right is either too dark, or a bad colour for people with red/green colourblindness, I can only read it if I highlight the text.
/\
As he said.
The title of the site should be slightly higher, so it doesn't overlap with the darker 'frame' beneath it, if you know what I mean. Also, the no. 1 resource text should probly be either edited into the picture, or in the previously mentioned darker ... thingy.
Decide WHERE do you want links - upper links for forums, register and home are unnecessary and, me thinks, make the site a bit less navigable. You can make the title picture point to the tetrisattack.org site directly, which is pretty much a standard, and that would suffice. Throw community column into menu in the left, and add forums and register/log-in links in there. That would leave the Dark Frame, as I have promptly named it, blank, so you can throw 'your no. 1 resource for all things Tetris Attack!' in there - TetrisAttack.org text below is completely useless.
I would maybe toy around with colors a bit too, but I have no clue how would I edit those. Some contrast, probably...
Oh, those red letters on the black background on the right are not a good idea (oh, yeah... got a little carried away. I know I was pointing to Ralackk already)

because it's a wordpress theme, I'm not entirely certain how I'll be able to edit it.
I'll try looking for a new theme in the meantime, but right now I have Keph custom designing one for me.

That is the best bet. Just force him to post here and give him rep :D

yes, I'm more concerned about content than design.

Shit is pretty much assembled, just need to adapt it to the way wordpress handles things. Which I'm still a bit vague on
still no ideas on what kind of content would be cool?

uhm. I don't care about TA (Tetris attack, that is) at all, but maybe you should update the faq a bit. It's outdate and doesn't say anything about the DS version (there was a DS version, right). Also.. uhm.. more gameplay videos? Contests? Artwork? Soundtracks? A banner to gog.com? I'm not sure..

well, as far as vids go, they'd just be links to youtube, because I don't have the space to host them. contests are coming, and I'd put more artwork on there, if only there were more artwork to put up there. but you're right, the faq is out of date, and I know Erin, and he's supposed to be writing a new one, but knowing him it could take several months, if not years, of getting almost closed to being finished and then wanting to start over from scratch for a typo.
but yes, I already planned on updating the content, I was just curious if anyone thought I'd left something out, or if there were more to ask.
I'm still working on things, trying to figure out some images that are complimentary for the forum theme..
give me some posts, if you would please?

Please?
apparently Keph has been a busy busy bee and has tossed up a little bit of work on a redesign, you can look at it at Weclock.com tell me what you think of it.

Weclock: tell me what you think of it.

Looks good, except it's much too thin. If possible, try having it scale with the window width (possibly using max- and min-width, to make it not take ridiculous shapes), also what's with the 10-pixel gap near the top?
Other than those nitpicks, I really like it.
Lemme address a few of the things you commented on, if I may ;)

Miaghstir: try having it scale with the window width

One reason I'm, personally, not too fond of layouts with variable width is the thing with widescreen and 4:3 monitors. If you, say, make the layout scale well for one, it's gonna look to thin/wide in the other. Unless you want to play with js hacks and what have you. Who knows, I might do so yet, but at this second I'm still a bit pre-occupied and the time I get to work on this is a wee-bit scarce :|

Miaghstir: (possibly using max- and min-width, to make it not take ridiculous shapes),

If I remember correctly (and I'm mostly positive that I do), the problem with those (in particular, with min-width, since this is what I use the most often) is that IE does not understand that shit. Which, incidentally, is one of the billions of reasons I hate IE with the passion of a thousand burning suns.
Friends don't let friends use IE.

Miaghstir: also what's with the 10-pixel gap near the top?

That, my friend, would be a glitch. Possibly caused by me having to adapt the pure-html structure from something else when it turned out that wordpress has a weird, weird way of doing things sometimes.
