I'm not usually into this forum thing, so I apologize ahead of time if this belongs elsewhere.
Anyway, I've been perusing the fantastic GOG selection (many of which are childhood favorites) for a while now, and even cruised the forums for mods, and the like. I figured I'd join in on all of the community fun (time providing of course, I work full time at a hospital).
As I'm sure you are all accustomed to new people coming in and out here is what you can expect from me:
I'm from America; Indiana specifically. Rolling of the eyes is acceptable.
I'm 21, and a college student. I don't revel in either too much.
I'm a journalism major and as such I spell things correctly and use correct punctuation when possible. Sometimes I get overly excited and post a message that reads like a meth addicts final hours though.
I have a unique sense of humor even at my own expense.
I love learning new things, so please: teach me.
Despite the aformentioned major in journalism I use the ever versatile ellipsis way too much...<-as evident here.
I'm a pretty easy going guy... I debate fairly, and sternly and don't try to force my opinion on anyone. I could be wrong, and I'm willing to accept that! (I find this one especially important, given the setting)
I'm incredibly excited to meet some of you like minded "Good Old Gamers!"
I like to write long wordy introductions.
and finally, I love point-and-click adventure games. This is hard to explain to my similarly aged friends.
See you soon!
