First off, great job Gog! Got Freespace, Sacrifice and lots more to follow.
Dunno bout the rest of you folks, but Battlezone was one of my favorites of all time. Great action, great strategy and a compelling atmosphere.
Trying to storm a Soviet position in a bomber, getting off a few rockets, getting nailed, trying to escape on foot or snipe yourself a new ride. Setting up a defensive line of turrets making you feel industructible, then bombers coming in and wasting them...
Every planet felt different, the difficulty seemed spot on... I miss it terribly... Anyone else feel the same?
People still putting requests as topics is kind of funny considering how pissed some of the older users get. Anyways, I did play the Battlezone demo and thought that it was awesome, I spent a long time with it. As a side note, does it seem like demos are about 100 times shorter now or is it just me?

I'd say that's in large part due to games getting shorter overall. I don't have anything against short games (certainly better than being a thousand hours long and being 99% filler), but it seems single-player games have gotten a bit light on content nowadays.
As for Battlezone: wishlist here, go vote for it.
I only have the full version of Battlezone 2, which is not bad, but I somehow liked the atmosphere better in the original.

I have both full versions and much preferred the BZ1 atmosphere, the cold war paranoia was tangible. I'd love to see BZ1 here too, it's a bit tricky to get it to run on modern systems.
