I've bought Flower on PSN yesterday and I have to say that for whatever reason, I'm tremendously enjoying it. Maybe because it's the first game where the Sixaxis controls don't feel artificial. Maybe because it's a game that you really can play to relax, without any sort of pressure. Maybe because it simply is beautiful. I really don't know, all I know is that I like it.
Have you played it? How do you feel about it?
I've never tried it, but I am a big fan of that other PSN game, flOw. Great relaxing "coffee table" game.
It looks nice, but I don't have or desire a Sony machine just to run the thing.
i loved flow. i dont particularly like flower that much.
its incredibly short. as in so short that its price tag of £6+ in the UK is absurd.
ive seen, and got, games that are far longer for less than half that price.
flow is longer, more diverse and feels like a complete game.
flower feels like a hub waiting for expansion packs to be released.
Now I wonder why they saw the need to change its name to "flowery" for Japan =/ But at 800 yen, I really don't feel like picking it up. It seems more of a gimmick than a game to me so I think I'll just pass.

Yes. It feels a lot like Flow which is unsurprising as it's made by the same people. Plays like a tech demo to me. Good for some short diversions, but not amazing. Looks good though.

I never played Flow, because the visuals are important for games like this and I didn't like Flow's... maybe I should rethink that.
There isn't really a lot of gameplay, so it is, in a sense, more of a demo than a real game. Practically the only tasks you have to do are seeking the flowers (preferably without getting fried, but even that can't kill you) and solving some minor puzzles. It really comes down to if you like the feel of the title, rather than the actual game.
