In case anyone hasn't seen the fantastic looking Gauntlet-like dungeon crawler, Hammerwatch, on Greenlight or something similar, here you go.

The beta's about 2 hours long in 2 player co-op if you use the Infinite Lives crutch and have room to screw up a lot. I don't know how long it would take without that crutch but I figure it'd be significantly longer since you would have to be a lot more careful and kite a lot more and whatnot.

You can't save either.

Anyways, it's pretty fun. Very Gauntlet-like, has a nice aesthetic, and it's got a lot of secrets, even in the beta. There isn't a whole lot of enemy variation yet but there's enough to get you through the 3 floors and the boss fight.

Enjoy!

EDIT: Oh, I've read there are some issues with online co-op. I wouldn't know, I played locally on a single computer. Just a warning that your mileage may vary.

Interesting...
Interesting. Where do you come up with these neat little games?

Primarily developer-specific communities (eg. TIGSource).

Anyone else tried it yet?

I've been following this one for a bit and looking forward to it. It seems like a fun game to play with a few other friends, similar to Legend of Dungeon.

That said, I'm a little disappointed it's not randomly generated. For a game like this, that would significantly increase it's replay value.
Its Greenlit as of yesterday...looks like we wont be seeing this in a bundle anytime soon :(
Just got released. $8 via Humble Store. GIves you Steam key and Soundtrack. Not sure where the DRM free copy is though???
