my graphic card went down last week (i get a refund from amazon !!!)
well i decided to get another ati card i have found 4 that are inside my price range but do not however would like some thoughts over whitch one of these brands is the better choice
XFX
Shapphire
Asus
or Gigabyte
heres where i am looking at

shapphire FTW. :) i have one myself and it works perfectly.
one of the best producers of cards. but you can't really go wrong with any of the four especially since they are of similar price.
It's mostly personal preference than anything else. I'm using ASUS cards for the last 7 years, so I'd say go with them. :)
You can google some benchmarks/reviews if you want, but they will probably turn out almost even. On trustedreviews Sapphire cards are the ones with lowest scores of the ones you mentioned and XFX cards have the highest rated, but none of them is the model you're after.
These days most video card manufacturers stick with the reference design and sometimes whack a different heatsink on. Occasionally you get a factory overclocked card which makes sod all difference in my experience.
Basically my advice is find either the one with the best bundled game or the cheapest. Or both if you can

There's very little to choose between them, to be honest. You're best off going with whichever offers the longest warranty or is the cheapest.
well XFX is in stock first in next week and comes with dirt 2 none of the others come with games
my first ati card was from sapphire and i stick with them. But i heard some good things about nvidia XFX cards, and im not sure but i think they wasn't making ati cards earlier. Would check some reviews about them.

Its also one of the cheapest ones, XFX is a good make I would go with that if the warranty deal is any good.
XFX has served me very well in the past; decent price, good warranty, quality manufacture, came with a good game (TOCA 3 for the last one I bought, I think). I don't currently use one of their cards in my main PC, but the two or three I have owned before were very reliable. In fact, at least one of them is still around here somewhere in one of my other spare parts machines

DiRT 2 would certainly seal it for me. Go with that one.
XFX and Sapphire both seem very god from various reviews, and since I've had very good experience with Sapphire cards (both mine and friends') but none at all with XFX, I'd say go with Sapphire. I'm not swayed by bundled games, but then, I have never seen a bundle containing any of the games I'm interested in.
Asus or Gigabyte I wouldn't trust to successfully return my socks from the laundry, much less get the bits to the screen in the correct order
I usually trust EVGA, but they make nvidia GPU's only, so you're out of luck there.
As far as ATI brands go, I haven't had one in many years, but most of the people I know that have them have Sapphire or XFX. I've had bad luck with Asus hardware (laptops, mobo's, GPU's) and I've always viewed Gigabyte as being a value brand.
well i think i shall get the XFX card as i have heard good things about them plus a new budled game and the fact that it will be in stock quite soon !!!!
XFX has a great warranty. I'd go with them.
