We should have GoG Stastics, same way Steam has its own Stats. We could have a list of countries and a list of users from those countries, highest forum activity, and such. What do you people think?
EDIT: My new best friend Aliasalpha has a good point. We should also have top seller numbers as well, just like Valve did with Half-Life sales.

Well I've often wondered how many copies of a certain game have been sold, sure fallout is the top seller but that could mean it's sold 2000 copies where everything else has sold 1000 or it could be 50000 copies.
Mind you, it may not be in GOG's best interests to publish specific sales figures.
IIRC, GOG has already said they are not going to publish the numbers and stats. At least while they are still trying to get more publishers to release content.
I guess the badly done statistic you can find is to see how many people voted for each game. Sure it only tells you how many people voted, but it's something to compare for now.
Yeah I figued that they'd probably not release numbers, noone does except in annual sales reports and even then they only say "over 100,000" rather than something specific
how often do they update the bestsellers list ?

darthcobley: how often do they update the bestsellers list ?

As soon as Fallout is not taking it all up :)
I think it's meant to be dynamic, but once per week at least.
I don't think they're at a point where they wish to release this data.
I don't really care about sales figures or units sold, having the bestsellers list is good enough for me, I'm just curious to see how many actual members GOG has.
Might be neat. Wonder how many people from CD Projekt's country visit this place.

Well they may not, they may wait until there's more of us than there are steam users. :X

I won't be guessing the number, but from what I've seen there are quite a few Poles here writing on the forums. I bet there are more of us using the service. Some probably don't like or don't have time to socialize, and some are probably afraid to write in English.
Usually English language forums seem to be composed mostly of people whose English is their mother tongue.

I'm just replying to your response to get your hopes up. Making you think that I cared about what you commented about, but really I was just looking for attention.
