I was just pointing out that the "We don't support Linux, but you're free to try to get it running in Linux yourself if you'd like." is actually the attitude they have right now. It works for DOSBox and ScummVM games, actually... as you're probably already aware...

Barefoot_Monkey: The installers for GOG games won't run in DOS, but if you install a DOSBox game on Windows and then copy the files over to DOS you have a good chance of getting the game to work.
In quite a few cases there are disc images mounted to DOSBox to get around games asking for the original disc, or ogg audio tracks mounted through a cue to get "CD Audio". These won't work on a real machine (unless assembled to a disc).

And I am just pointing out that if only that attitude can apply or translate to "We don't support Linux, but you're free to try to get the unsupported Linux version we provide as extras running on Linux yourself if you'd like."

Guess we are pointing fingers at different directions, that's all :-)
