ovoon: As a reviewer, you should tell me the games ups and downs, not tell if you thought it was worth the money.

Gundato: Honestly, I would have to disagree there. It is great to get a list of pros and cons, but at the end of the day, we read reviews to find out if a game is worth buying. If we just want to know about it, there are better places to search.
That being said, I still feel that the best approach is "Discuss the game, present the pros and cons, then pass a verdict".
I'm pretty sure that seeing the pros and cons would make me decide myself. I don't want some paid off moron telling me what I should buy. I just want to see any problems the game has, and decide for myself.

Then it sounds like your problem is more with who is doing the reviews, rather than the reviews themselves.
Take a look at Borderlands. There is a HUGE list of cons with that game, and it doesn't even sound all that great on paper. But it is a damned fine game that I recommend to pretty much everyone. If you just look at the pros/cons, you might miss out on the game itself.
Then you have games like Modern Warfare 2('s Singleplayer). On paper, it sounds great. But as a whole, it just doesn't mesh well, and the one or two cons (multiple set-pieces where you just need to run a route or die) really detract.
