Apologies if there's already a thread on this, I can't seem to think of a search that would bring it back.
OK - taking Blizzards trademark may not be a good idea, but we've got a nice community here. I'd quite like to put a few people in their place with my gaming skills. How about a connect forum?
Thoughts?
I play Starcraft against my brother and a couple of friends on B.net from time to time. I'm just a casual player though. I know how to play the game and what unit is best against what other unit but my building speed is lacking, I barely use the keyboard to give commands and I don't memorize build orders so if this has anything "hardcore" witten in it, I'm really going to suck at it.
I'd be up for it; going to re-buy the game tomorrow as well and I know some people from the TF2 group are up for it as well. Just casual play though, we're not that hard-core.
I think a connect forum would be great. GOG's catalogue includes a bunch of great multiplayer games, and a matchmaking system, even a self-managed one like a forum, would be an excellent addition - especially given the number of older games that don't do server lists at all but rather require direct IP connections, making them difficult to play.

I've got Starcraft off the Blizzard store, I'll just download it when you're up for it.
Got it installed so if anyone is up for a match of Starcraft BroodWar on Battle.net later today just give a shout here.
Anyone up for a game?
I still have yet to purchase this game cause I can't find my copy I got all those years ago.
$20 is a mighty fine deal for the battle chest.
Unless we're talking about Warcraft 2 I'm not interested.

Ah, very fond memories... I still have the CD's in the box...
I'm up for re-installing Starcraft and have Warcraft 3 installed, but I doubt I'll be a challenging opponent at starcraft since I haven't played it since six years.
I've got them all, including Warcraft 2 Battle.net edition. Might be up for a game sometime during weekends.

While a starcraft game would be cool, I actually intended this post as a more general suggestion that GOG start something up that mimics Battle.NET, but for GOG games.
