PhysX is an nVidia technology (well, they bought it from Ageia, or they bought Ageia, not sure), so that's probably why. I'm not sure if AMD is in the works to support PhysX/CUDA on their cards, but there are other general-purpose languages that take use of the power in the GPU chips, notably OpenCL which (like OpenGL and OpenAL) is cross platform and works on cards fro more than a single developer.

I'm sorry, but personally one of the aspects i love about these boards is the self moderation one. Let's just try to carry this 'no police boards needed' utopia deal we've got going on here just a little bit longer, ok?
I think the GOG team doens't object to the discussions of promos on other platforms. Some of the guys/gals (if not all) are gamers and just like everydody else i'm sure they appreciate learning about a good deal. Anybody from the team feel free to correct me here if i'm wrong.
As w0rma stated, is the direct linking that creates a potencial problem since it falls under the 'advertisment' category.
So let's just stop posting direct links to deals on those other platforms (they're redundant anyway) and if someone for some reason posts such a link, i'm sure any of the regulars here or whoever happens to be around can politely ask that someone to edit the post and remove the link. It happened before with direct links to 'shady' content and it worked out fine.

I remember I played it for like 30 minutes. Then I thought the game was total rubbish and stopped playing it.

Too bad games I'm most interested weren't included in promo; Theatre of War Mission Pack & PT Boats Knights of The Sea :-).
