My favorite music track from an old game is Frog's Theme from Chrono Trigger (already mentioned and linked by maggotheart above.) A great freaking tune. So I'd like to enter on behalf of maggotheart, if I may.

It always baffles me how people seem to forget Glen Stafford's work on Warcraft 2. The things this man did with simple midi boggle my mind to this day!
