Since I was an early bird with Funcoms Anarchy Online, I would hope they have learned a lot since then. It felt like an open beta for so long that I gave up with it.
It was the last time I played an MMO, and I don't see that changing. The whole experience is empty for me.
But this isn't a "why do you dislike MMOs" thread, so I'll stop my whining!

Summarized: MMO in modern day setting, no levels/classes, lots of freedom. Trailer looks sweet.

Just watched an interview with Ragnar from gametrailers (via Rock Paper Shotgun), and I was very impressed by what he said.
I think this would make a fantastic single player experience, but I can't see how it will work as an MMO.
At one point he mentioned the story... I mean, how do you get proper story progression in an MMO?
I guess people will continue making MMOs so long as theres plenty of folk willing to subscribe, trying to be the next WOW money making machine.
