Would you guys/gals want a forum with user profiles? Showing posts by that user, location, bio, and stuff you'd find in a phBB/vBulletin forum. Oh, and also I've got this idea: One person from the GOG team posts a short Op-ed (look it up) column in the forums about nostalgic gaming (or what they had for breakfast).

Perhaps if they were gog-wide profiles rather than specifically for the forum. The site profile could include favorite genres so the site can suggest more probable purchases, maybe even list all the gog games so you can tick the ones you own but weren't bought from gog so they don't recommend those.

I think they'll add those features in the near (or a little-bit-further) future. Some of them are already implemented on their (now former) site, which uses this very forum engine. Let's just wait and see.

I think there is a lot to this forum that is done poorly. Why open a new windows for posting new reply. Why don't it have quick-reply. I want to answer to the topic, not to a specific post.

You know we're just customers :P we pay for the services and we do noting in return..this is not a warez board so users here only discuss and talk about the general content but don't post games and other things..i know you want a more detalied board but i guess this is enough for me

Who said anything about warez? Hell, even Facepunch has more features than the GOG forums.

Just see the similar features that comes with phpBB, vBulletin, IP.Board (my favorite), SMF, etc. They are years in advance.
I will agree that the forum looks really nice. But the way it is build, it seems that it is ment for someone else.
