amok: Valve is actually quite DRM agnostic :)

Half-Life 2 games and derivatives, for example, are deliver DRM free through Steam, and they leave it completely up to the publisher whether they want to use CEG or not (CEG is the Steam DRM system). So not sure what you are saying here... so yes, I could see this happen :)
I wasn't being serious with my post. I was just poking fun at the wording the OP used in that sentence. :)
