What's your favorite horror game?

Hmm... for me it's Survival Crisis Z, though The White Chamber comes in a close second.

Any of the first 3 Silent Hill games. Haven't played the others.

The original "Alone in the Dark".

Silent Hill 2 (Also my favorite game ever in general). The original Silent Hill, which I played 5 years ago, was my very first horror game, so that will always have a special place in my heart, too. Honorable mention goes to Siren Blood Curse, a fantastic horror game in every aspect.

Silent Hill 2, Amnesia, Fatal Frame 1 and 2 ... Resident Evil 4 is one of my favorite games, but its horror credentials are pretty dubious.

I know you said game, not games, but it's basically a tie. I guess I liked Fatal Frame 2 a little more than I liked Fatal Frame 1 (I did not like Fatal Frame 3, which made me sad).

Amnesia.

Love horror games. Hard to choose a favourite, but right now I'm going to say the first Silent Hill game just because I've been craving to play it again recently.

Honorable mentions: Amnesia, Sanitarium, Resident Evil series (second/fourth sticks out for me), Clock Tower, Shadow of the Comet. I even liked 7th Guest/11th Hour way back when they first came out but I accept they haven't aged so well. Oh shit and Gabriel Knight 2, loved that game. I've not checked out the first/third games in the series yet because I suck.

Also, 5 Days a Stranger is great, and free! I recommend it.

Edit: Almost forgot Shadow of the Comet. Great game.
