Hey there!!,,,I would like to know if GOG will ever get the far-cry series 3 and 4,,,since it has 1 and 2 why not 3 and 4,,,heh!,,, I really like to get it now but I'm not going to steam or any DRM site to do it,,,,please please!!
I believe the DRM involved in 3 and 4 are the very reasons why you may never see them here. GOG must not be able to get EA to give out the DRM free version so the DRM only version is the ONLY pc version.
They probably won't come here as they're using Uplay. Sorry.
Slim to none. those are the chances. Far-Cry 3/4 are with Ubi's precious UPlay.
That's a heartbreaker,,,dam
Actually uDon'tplay - when I was playing FC3, or trying, actually, every time I accessed main menu for any reason (to look at map, check quests or dossiers discoveverd, or craft something), game tried to access online, even when there was no online, and those attempts froze my PC for around a minute every time. Not exactly a rage quit, but I don't want udon'tplay to try to tell me friends I've just found some old vase. Again. For 36th time! Regardless, II decided not to detour from main questline, which is death sentence for "open world sandbox" in my eyes.

I hope person responsible for that "online socializing", and for those towers will never be fired from Ubisoft, so I'll knew I'm safe from them in any other games. Oh, and I wish those persons will go to latrine through climbing towerst 15-18 every damn time they wanted to take a leak!
I can tell you that Ubi Romania has some nice staff facilities. So....
I put together a beast of a gaming system with ssd drives and dvd roms,,I do a lot of recordings of tv video's and using rw drives making DVD'S,,I'm afraid of losing HD'S and op drives to these client software and DRM games,,I hear a lot of scary stories about this so I been backing off installing there clients,,,I did install origin once on my other pc and found it gets all over the pc,,took awhile for me to get rid it,,,but I just don't know these days how bad it really is,, I'm itching to install steam so I could get some game I want...
Never get Origin or UPlay on Steam. You will have to deal with two DRM clients at the same time. Get UPlay games from the Ubi store and Origin games from the Origin store
Thanks for the info wolfsrain,,,I will remember that,,,

But note that if you want the season passes/dlc/etc. that it'll go on sale cheaper on Steam than on those other platforms.

These won't come to GOG along with many other titles. The only way you'll get them drm-free for legit is by buying a copy and then applying the crack to it. Whether you see that as "modding" or unethical is up to you, but as long as it's still a purchased product there shouldn't be many issues with that except for avoiding viruses and being involved with the pirate world (searching for and downloading their 'hacks').

Though I'm not sure how that goes with drm-clients and whether they detect it as malicious behavior. Probably not. :P

Since when was piracy approved off in this forums?

If you are going to play a game, you should dam well be man enough pay for them also. If you do not approve of how a game is delivered, the solution is to not play the game at all. The only thing you do by pirate games, is legitimising the use of DRM.

Down-voted.
I have far Cry 3 bought from Humble, thought I'd have a go the other day, but forgot my log in details for uPlay lol oh wells..

Playing Far Cry 1, which I bought from GOG. It's a lot harder than FC3 [IMO] What's the detection radius of those NPC's [ 3 miles] :(
I wish GOG could get Far Cry 3 and 4 as well. But unfortunately it looks very unlikely.
